The arrest stemmed from an incident in Putnam County on Thursday, April 5 at around 6:30 a.m., when a vehicle was seen speeding in the area of Kent Elementary School, according to Kent Police.

Officers then stopped the car and began talking with the driver, who first identified herself as Gina Buttacavoli. After speaking with her, police administered field sobriety tests and searched the car, soon finding a driver's license belonging to a Jaclyn St. Clair, the department said.

Officers then discovered that the driver's name was in fact Jaclyn St. Clair and that she had provided a false name because her license was suspended, according to police.

St. Clair was then arrested and charged with:

  • Driving while intoxicated;
  • First-degree aggravated unlicensed operation;
  • Reckless driving.

She was later issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
